Marulas, Valenzuela isn't just a busy district—it's the home turf for Fatimanians and the nearby student community. You can always feel that 'academic grind' energy here, with cafes usually flucked by students looking for their next caffeine fix.
I'm here at Le Barako Cafe—located at Marulas, Valenzuela. I love the ambiance since I love black and bare paint. The place is really quiet and I see a lot of professionals doing their business in front of their laptops.

The Non-Negotiables (The Dealbreakers)
Wi-Fi Stability: The wifi is really strong, so I get why many professionals go here. Reliable connectivity for those who need to get things done.
Power Access: S-Tier Coverage. Actually, there’s a lot of outlets, not just in the middle tables. I was lucky to be seated with an outlet—so you can definitely stay powered up.
Coffee Quality: The coffee? It’s like mid. What’s weird is that their brand name is Le Barako Cafe but they don’t actually serve barako. HAHA!
Comfort, Hygiene & Security: I don’t like where I seated. The seat is comfy like a couch but it’s too low compared to the table. Not the best for long typing sessions. The CR? It’s clean. The place feels safe and the "Focus" atmosphere is top-notch for those working on gadgets.
The Vibe Check (The Experience)
Parking: They have their own parking lot, so your vehicle is safe. A big win if you're worried about street parking.
Noise Level & Staff: The place is really quiet. They have good vibes in music, and the staff is chill - like they are just magbabarkada. Very professional environment.
Price-to-Quality Ratio: Solid value. You’re paying for a premium workspace that actually supports your hardware and connectivity needs.
Ambiance: The heat? It’s comfortable. The cafe has a full glass wall, but in the afternoon—it’s not facing the sun.
Bonus: The "Stay" Factor
I stayed here for about 4 hours and noticed people staying even longer. Some were already here when I arrived and were still grinding when I left. They seem very chill with long-stayers.
