Audit #005: Lucia’s Kitchen & Cafe (Saranay, Bagumbong, Caloocan)

Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there! We planned to hunt for a new cafe around Bagumbong, Deparo, and Congress today, but we struggled to find a spot with accessible 4-wheel parking—until we circled back here.


Full disclosure: We came here today to celebrate Mother’s Day with the family, not to work. However, I initially visited this cafe for a full audit back on March 9, 2026, and the data is too good not to share.



The Non-Negotiables (The Dealbreakers)

  • Wi-Fi Stability: 323 Mbps. This is elite. If you have heavy uploads or video meetings, this is your sanctuary.



  • Power Access: Roughly 2 tables to 1 outlet. Good ratio, but you might need to coordinate with your "neighbor" if the place is packed.



  • Coffee Quality: Smooth and Solid. At 120php, this is a "Sulit" find. You get high-quality caffeine without the "metro" markup.



  • Comfort, Hygiene & Security: They have padded seats (buttocks only), which is fine for mid-length sessions. The CR is clean and well-maintained—a must for long-stay workers.






The Vibe Check (The Experience)

  • Parking: They have their own parking area, which is a huge relief in this part of Caloocan. Just a heads-up: it’s shared with other building tenants, so it can get occupied during peak hours.



  • Noise Level & Staff: The staff are great! They were actually "nice and cute" about us filming—they seemed genuinely happy to see us doing a funny vlog. Even though the cafe is at the busy corner of Saranay and Congressional Road Ext., the indoor noise insulation is impressive; you barely notice the traffic outside.



  • Ambiance: High-end aesthetic with a coastal/boho twist. The wooden accents and "sunset" mural make it feel like a vacation spot in the middle of the city.



Bonus: The "Stay" Factor

They are very chill here. They aren't strict with how long you stay, making it a reliable "3rd place" for those days when you just need to grind through a long to-do list.

Why A-Tier? 323 Mbps is hard to beat in North Caloocan. Combined with 120php coffee and a welcoming staff, this is easily one of the best workstations in Saranay.
